(insert any kind of Speedwagon joke here)
While looking in my downloads, I noticed I had GameModels rips of two different Impreza WRX STi Sport Wagon from Gran Turismo 6: one is first generation GF model and the other is pre-facelift second generation GG model. First generation GF model has been already done long time ago, but by using PedroBLR's old NFS Carbon mod as base (as at that time I wasn't quite skilled with making actual doorlines from textures (at least in ZModeler)), so the second generation GG model will be the one I'll make (which makes it my first car mod I converted from Gran Turismo from scratch instead of waiting for PedroBLR to make such cars)
As you may know, the one Impreza body style that tends to be included in video games is almost always sedan, but Gran Turismo added two Impreza wagons before GT Sport. I also remember there's club[TH] with their GTA San Andreas mod, but I'm not going to convert it anyway as unless it is necessary, I'd rather take models from other games or even from pre-made models from DMI instead of relying on fan-made models.
While the base is a modified Gran Turismo 6 model, there are few parts that I didn't use from Gran Turismo 6: the base shape for hood is taken from NFS Underground 1 as well as custom spoilers (NFSU1 hatch spoilers like Flyte are much better than NFSU2 or NFSMW ones, you can't change my mind), C-West bodykit is taken from Street Racing Syndicate, stock muffler tip is taken from Initial D Arcade Stage, and door handles are taken from Sega GT Online.
As for the hoods, I added three different styles. The first two pictured above use parts from racing Impreza GD Sedan models (Rally Car and Super Touring Car respectively), taken from Gran Turismo PSP (Impreza GD Rally Car's headlight texture served as base of making custom headlights seen on customized examples). Only the third one originates from NFS Underground 1, and yes, bugeye Impreza's Formula-Style/Tri-Slot hood looks better than similar hood seen on blobeye's Impreza in NFS Underground 2 or Most Wanted. And talking about blobeye Impreza, I once thought of using its interior from Most Wanted for bugeye Impreza wagon I'm making.
